Guitar/Play
Ever wanted to learn Guitar! Now you can! In this class parents learn the basic chords and rhythms needed to play almost any nursery rhyme or simple song to their child. Bring your rockin' babe along to explore the playhouse or just listen along while you learn. Parent's will need to bring their own guitar. This class is recommended for parents/caregivers with children ages 0-4.
Artful Parenting - Art Therapy Group
It is a transformative life experience to become a new caregiver to a child. In this class parents find camaraderie with other new parents while completing a fun art project. In each class we will have a focus topic to discuss, and children ages 0 - 1 are invited to come along and play in the center while the parents share their own wisdom, trials, and successes, as new caregivers with one another.
Art therapy is about the process not the product, so no art experience is needed.

Birth Recovery Group
This group has been formed to give and receive support and to share our traumatic birth experiences. For many, birth can be an extremely difficult process. Our experience may be far from what we had planned, and oftentimes we may be traumatized by it. A long and difficult birth, an unexpected or unwanted medical intervention, or an unplanned c-section may be challenging to understand and accept. Birth trauma may interfere in our ability to experience the joy of our newborn babies and motherhood. And, sometimes it's hard to find someone to talk to about our unpleasant thoughts and feelings.
Come join others who have been down the road you are traveling. It is our hope that you find the support you need for wherever you are; pregnant and facing an unexpected c-section, immediately post-partum recovering from a traumatic birth experience or c-section, months or years later working through emotions of an unexpected medical procedure or difficult birth, and/or planning your next birth.
Please join us to share your experiences, thoughts, concerns, etc. Give advice or ask for advice. We want everyone to feel comfortable no matter what kind of birthing background you come from. Support and respect are the key words when visiting this group.
This Group is free.
We meet the fourth Wednesday of every month (with the exception of holidays).
No Registration Necessary. Children are welcome.
