Sarah Doyle, LMSW, Former Executive Director

A licensed Master Social Worker in both clinical and macro specialty, Sarah has worked as a facilitator, counselor and advocate for families in a variety of settings, including schools, residential facilities, in-home and clinics, locally and abroad. Sarah joined the School of Social Work in 2012 at Wayne State University (WSU) where she also serves on WSU Gender Equity’s Child Care and Lactation committees, and the Provosts Child Care Implementation committee.

Sarah strives to develop “village building” through her work with non-profits and community organizations.  Sarah currently serves on the Detroit Perinatal Wellness Coalition, a board member of the Postpartum Support International MI Chapter and local climb leader for the Climb Out of the Darkness, raising awareness for the mental health of new families.
