It Takes A Village
The joys and challenges of motherhood can be overwhelming and exhausting and can leave us feeling lost and isolated in our new world. This group is a chance to discuss some of these experiences in a friendly, supportive environment, full of people who are going through the same ups and downs and adjustments as you. Come to feel supported, build friendships, and share with each other the tools we've learned to manage motherhood.

Fatherhood Support Group
Fathers, your voice matters. Come and be heard on what issues matter most to you. This group is led by Fatherhood Specialist Reginald Day & Chris Porter. Space is limited, preregistration is required.

Safely prepare for your child's arrival by joining our Baby Proofing Workshops and In-Home Assessments, CPR and AED classes and Car Seat Assessment Workshops.
LGBTQ+ Families
Calling all LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers! Join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 1:30-3:30pm for a casual meet-up and playgroup. Get to know other LGBTQ+ parents, introduce your kids to other families that look like yours, and get connected to safe and affirming local resources. Parents/caregivers will have the opportunity to discuss a rotating topic while kids play and explore a sensory-friendly, non-toxic playspace.
Baby Wearing
Hosted by the Metro Detroit Babywearers this group of moms provide you with all the assistance you need to keep that bundle of joy happy and wrapped up close to you. Learn the basics and advanced techniques in slings, wraps, and more.
LaLeche League of Ferndale-Royal Oak
Hosted by the LaLeche League of Ferndale-Royal Oak which provides nursing assistance, education, and information to new moms. LaLeche promotes breastfeeding as a natural element in the healthy development of both the growing child and mother.
